Up — Title Sequence
A hand-painted title sequence for Pixar's Up, brought to life digitally.
I wanted to bring the whimsical world of Up to life by hand. Every graphic began as watercolour and acrylic paint, which I photographed and cleaned up in Illustrator.
The animation happened in After Effects, with final assembly and timing in Premiere Pro: a marriage of traditional art and digital media.
