My story
From island roots to a studio of my own

Island roots
I'm from Hawaiʻi, where observing and capturing beauty comes naturally. Molokaʻi is my home and my inspiration: the ocean, the light and the land are still where most of my ideas begin.

Learning the craft
I studied Digital Art at Johnson & Wales University, graduating in 2014. I started as an intern at The Ivy League Group, an IT consultancy, and grew into designing websites, logos and brands for their clients. Even then I kept a foot at home, designing for Molokai Realty since 2012.

Building community
From 2018 to 2020 I was facility co-director and event organizer at Westchester Reform Temple, running large events and the building's AV and IT. I also rebranded Croton Falls Community Church, from a new logo to a website with live streams and online giving, and received a Servant Award for community service in 2018.

Coming home
Back on Molokaʻi I taught digital arts at Molokai High School from 2020 to 2022: Adobe Creative Cloud, film, music production and entrepreneurship. I founded the school's esports club, led a six-month program where students taught our kūpuna to use their technology, and earned my M.Ed. from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

A studio of my own
In 2019 I founded Crosspoint Designs, LLC, a creative and technology studio building brands, websites, media and IT for businesses on Molokaʻi and beyond, and I serve on the board of Intrasign, a nonprofit focused on cybersecurity awareness. I still make for the love of it too: engraving hardwood, painting with fluorescent color, and producing music and DJing when the studio lights go off.
